Dmitriy Danilchuk
Biography
A Ukrainian serviceman, Danilchuk was captured on 17 May 2022 at the Azovstal steel plant in Mariupol. He was accused of involvement in a terrorist organisation and of receiving training to carry out terrorist activities. On 20 August 2024, he was sentenced to a term of imprisonment, although the specific details of the sentence remain unknown. On 4 July 2025, Danilchuk was returned to Ukraine as part of a prisoner exchange.
