Evgenii Kononenko
Biography
A resident of the Sverdlovsk region, he was born in Kramatorsk (Donetsk region of Ukraine). In February 2025, he was detained in a case of public justification of terrorism. He was charged with a number of comments about Putin, war and sending to kill for money. The final version of the charges included only a comment approving the arson attack on a military recruitment centre committed by Vladislav Borisenko, a resident of Nizhnevartovsk, in May 2022. On 27 October 2025 Kononenko was sentenced, details are unknown.
