Of the four prosecution witnesses, only one said he saw Vladenkov hit a police officer. According to the defence version, Vladenkov tried to protect another protester as force was used against him. The verdict states that one of the exhibits in the case is "a DVD disc with a video recording of the 'He Is Not Dimon to You in Petrozavodsk - YouTube' rally". Vladenkov claimed that he did not hit anyone, referring to the video recording. On 26 December he was sentenced to a year of suspended sentence.
