A resident of Baksan (Kabardino-Balkaria region), formerly a candidate for deputy to the local government council from the CPRF. On the 7th of August, 2023, a search was conducted at Gukov's in relation to a case of discrediting the use of the Armed Forces. He was given a recognisance not to leave the country. On the 4th of March, 2024, Gukov was sentenced to a year and a half suspended sentence.
