Biography
A resident of Tver, he was detained on 6 June 2022 and brought to Moscow. As part of the case against the anti-war Vesna (Youth Democratic) movement, Ksenzhepolskii was accused of creating an extremist community, dissemination of disrespectful information about the days of military glory by a group of persons, public calls for actions against the security of the state committed by an organised group, dissemination of deliberately false information about the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation by a group of persons motivated by political hate. On 8 June he was taken into custody. In July, Ksenzhepolsky stated that law enforcers tried to recruit him in order to testify against his accomplices in the pre-trial detention centre. In October, it was reported that he had not received food and clothing parcels for weeks. In January 2024, Ksenzhepolskii's support group reported that he had not received some of the parcels sent to him to the pre-trial detention centre.
