A resident of Omsk, a priest of the Greek Catholic parish of the Protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary. In 2023, he was summoned to the police for a preventive conversation. On 23 April 2024, a criminal case was opened against him because of an icon depicting Bandera, which was apparently seized in 2023. On 24 April, Maksimov was placed under house arrest in a case of rehabilitation of Nazism and insulting the feelings of believers.
