Biography
On 26 November 2019, he was detained in Ozersk (Chelyabinsk region) on charges of involvement in a terrorist organisation, due to his alleged association with the Islamist party Hizb ut-Tahrir, which is not linked to terrorism. He was taken into custody in Chelyabinsk. On 27 May 2021, he was sentenced to 12 years in a strict regime penal colony.
