Ilshat Kurmambayev

Resident of Astrakhan. In May 2011, he was given a recognisance not to abscond as part of a case of participation in the activities of an extremist organisation due to his involvement in the activities of the Islamic movement Tablighi Jamaat. His adherents are persecuted solely because of their religious activities. On 25 May 2012 Kurmambayev was sentenced to a fine of 150 thousand rubles.
