Ilya Danilov

Former coordinator of Navalny's headquarters in Lipetsk. On 25 August 2022, his place of residence was searched as part of a criminal case under the article on the dissemination of "fakes" about the Russian army on the grounds of political hatred. The case was initiated on 4 April 2022 because of a publication in the "Danilov without notes" Telegram channel. On 14 March, the activist published a video in which captured Russian soldiers call their mothers. At first it was reported that Danilov, who left the country, is in the status of a witness in the case. In November, it became known that Danilov was put on the wanted list. On 13 December he was arrested in absentia as a suspect. No later than June 2023, it became known that Danilov was also charged with participation in the activities of an extremist organisation due to his involvement in the activities of Navalny's headquarters.
