When Gelyastanov left his house with the massage table, he was detained by security forces. After the detention, he was taken to Khakassia. A case was opened against him for discrediting the Russian army, the reason was anti-war posts in "VKontakte", which he published in 2023, while being on the territory of Khakassia. As a measure of restraint, Gelyastanov signed a recognisance not to leave the village of Efremkino, Shirinsky district of Khakassia. On December 25th he was sentenced to a fine of 110 thousand rubles.
