Irina Ushakova

A resident of Vyselki (Krasnodar region). A criminal case was brought against her for participation in the activities of an extremist organisation due to her involvement in a Jehovah's Witnesses community. Ushakova was given a covenant not to leave the country.

Representatives of this community are prosecuted under extremist articles solely for religious activities: holding meetings and worship services and attracting new supporters.

On 4 July 2025, the court sentenced her to a two-year suspended sentence.
