Biography
A resident of Ingushetia, activist, human rights defender, and journalist. He was detained at Minsk airport on 8 May 2019 and transferred to Nalchik on 12 May, where he was taken into custody on charges of organizing violence against police officers during a protest on 27 March 2019.
In late December 2019, an additional case was opened against him for participating in the activities of an extremist group.
On 16 March 2021, he began a hunger strike and refused to take part in the trial in protest against the return of Zarifa Sautieva from house arrest to pre-trial detention. He ended the

On 16 March 2021, he began a hunger strike and refused to take part in the trial in protest against the return of Zarifa Sautieva from house arrest to pre-trial detention. He ended the hunger strike on 23 March following public appeals.
On 15 December, he was sentenced to eight years in a general regime penal colony. He was released on 1 April 2025.
