Ivan Kartashov

A resident of St Petersburg. A criminal case was initiated against him for confidential cooperation with a foreign state: according to the investigation, he sent certain files to a CIA officer. On 18 December 2024, Kartashov was remanded in custody. The charge was later reclassified as high treason. On 16 March 2026, Kartashov was sentenced to 14 years in a strict regime penal colony.
