Khalil Ametov

Resident of Kherson region (Ukraine). He was allegedly detained in August 2022. He was taken to Crimea, where he was taken into custody on charges of participation in an illegal armed formation due to his involvement in the activities of the Crimean Tatar Volunteer Battalion named after Noman Chelebidzhikhan, whose involvement in any military actions has not been proven. On 8 October 2024, a court in Kherson region sentenced Khalilov to five years in a strict regime colony.
