On 17 July 2019, Yevstigneev's home was searched. On 2 September 2020, he was charged with finding the extremist activities. On 24 August 2021, Yevstigneev signed acknowledgement of travel restrictions. On 12 May 2022, he was sentenced to a three-year suspended sentence.
