Konstantin Tereshchenko

Resident of Kherson region (Ukraine). agricultural labourer. On 18 June 2022, he was detained. First, he was held in the basement of the 17th college in Genichesk, and then he was placed in custody in Crimea. A case was opened against him on charges of participation in an illegal armed formation in connection with involvement in the activities of the Crimean Tatar Volunteer Battalion named after Noman Chelebidzhikhan, whose involvement in any military actions has not been proven. At the trial, he stated that he was not a member of the Noman Chelebidzhikhan Battalion, but rather a member of the Crimean Tatar volunteer battalion. He had been there for about a month and a half, had not officially signed a contract, but had been doing household work, and had left because he had not been paid his promised salary. On 2 December 2022 Tereshchenko was sentenced to four years and three months in a strict regime colony.
