Detained on 5 November 2020 and taken into custody the next day. Charged with participation in the activities of a terrorist organisation and recruitment for terrorist activities due to alleged involvement in the Islamist party Hizb ut-Tahrir, unrelated to terrorism. On 12 September 2022, sentenced to 12 years in a strict regime colony.
