Marina is a psychologist and the wife of Leonid Gozman. On 29 July 2022, it became known that a case had been opened against her for allegedly failing to report obtaining Israeli citizenship in a timely manner in 2018. After Gozman’s administrative arrest, the couple left Russia. However, in 2024, Egorova returned to Russia, and on 4 October she was placed under house arrest in a case concerning the smuggling of cultural property – namely, family silver cutlery – as part of an organised criminal group together with Gozman and a driver who had given her a lift to the

On 29 July 2022, it became known that a case had been opened against her for allegedly failing to report obtaining Israeli citizenship in a timely manner in 2018. After Gozman’s administrative arrest, the couple left Russia. However, in 2024, Egorova returned to Russia, and on 4 October she was placed under house arrest in a case concerning the smuggling of cultural property – namely, family silver cutlery – as part of an organised criminal group together with Gozman and a driver who had given her a lift to the border crossing. On 5 November 2025, Gozman announced that his wife had left Russia “completely legally”.
