Biography
A resident of Donetsk (Ukraine), a human rights defender, helps the mobilised. In April 2025, he was fined under the administrative article on discrediting the army (Art. 20.3.3 of the CAO) for a comment in support of the ASTRA publication. In July 2025, masked FSB officers burst into his flat and detained him, then released him. According to Davydov, they threatened him, saying they would very much like to "shoot him". On 4 February 2026, he was detained in his flat, beaten and tortured, ASTRA reported. He was then taken to the police station before being detained for several days.

It became known that he was accused of using a knowingly false document, namely a USSR passport. On 9 February Davydov was released, but then immediately detained again.
