Во время допроса ему угрожали, что его жену отправят в СИЗО. 24 мая Зинченко поместили под домашний арест по обвинению в участии в деятельности экстремистской организации. 17 апреля 2024 года суд приговорил его к двум годам лишения свободы, но заменил их на принудительные работы.
