Biography
Resident of Ufa. In April 2011, he was detained and later arrested on suspicion of involvement in an extremist organisation due to his alleged involvement in the activities of the Islamist party Hizb ut-Tahrir, which has nothing to do with extremism and terrorism. In February 2012, he was sentenced to a year and four months in a penal colony.
In the summer of 2017, detained and then arrested in a case of involvement in a terrorist organisation, again in connection with Hizb ut-Tahrir. On 21 February 2019, sentenced to 15 years in a strict-regime penal colony.
