Mukhtar Abytov

Abytov, a resident of Abakan. In 2011 criminal proceedings were initiated against him for participating in the activities of an extremist organization due to his involvement with the Islamic movement Tablighi Jamaat. Its adherents are persecuted solely because of their religious activities. On 26 December 2011 Abytov was sentenced to a fine of 20 thousand rubles.
