Murat Mulazhev

Murat is a resident of Karachay-Cherkessia. On 28 May 2024, he was taken into custody on charges of involvement in the activities of an extremist organisation, allegedly linked to Takfir wal-Hijra. Some scholars and human rights defenders argue that no such organisation actually exists. On 27 October 2025, Mulazhev was sentenced to imprisonment in a general-regime penal colony.
