Natalia Ignateva
Biography
A resident of Komsomolsk-on-Amur. In June 2009, a case of incitement to hatred was brought against her because of her public reading of the poem "A Last Wish to the 'Ivans'". In July 2010, the case was dropped due to a lack of elements of a crime. In September 2023, it became known that a case involving the activities of an extremist organisation was brought against Ignateva. Later, it was reported that the case also includes a charge of participation in the activities of an extremist organisation. On 10 March 2025, Ignateva was sentenced to 5 years and 6 months’ imprisonment
