Resident of Novorossiysk. On 1 November 2023, he was detained and taken into custody the following day on charges of participation in the activities of a terrorist organisation. A case has also been opened for discrediting the Armed Forces and public justification of terrorism.
According to the law enforcement agents' version, Artamonov tried to join the "Freedom of Russia" legion: he filled out a questionnaire, wrote the text of the oath and sent them to a representative of the association. In August, he was detained on a train on his way to Belgorod Region.
