He was arrested for 15 days under the administrative article on disobeying the lawful demands of a government official. Chunosov later said that unknown people put a bag over his head, so he started resisting. Later, a case of preparation for treason was opened against him. In August 2023, a video of Chunosov’s arrest was published, in which he claims that he planned to “fight the Russian authorities with arms”.
