Biography
From 2015 to 23 July 2021, he served in the Ukrainian "Azov" regiment as an instructor (mechanic-driver) in a special operations company and in other roles before being discharged. On 4 April 2022, he was detained in Mariupol. He was charged with violent seizure and retention of power, organising the activities of a terrorist organisation and undergoing training for the purpose of committing terrorist acts. Human rights activists have pointed out that he is a prisoner of war and, therefore, he should not have been prosecuted essentially for participating in combat.
