Pavel Chemrov
Biography
A resident of Nazarov (Krasnoyarsk region). He was prosecuted for participation in the activities of an extremist organisation due to his involvement in the Jehovah's Witnesses community. Representatives of this community are prosecuted under extremist articles solely because of their religious activities - organising meetings and worship services and attracting new supporters. On 28 December 2023, Chemrov signed a recognizance not to leave. On 26 December 2024, he was sentenced to a three-year suspended sentence.
