Biography

Rebrovsky was detained on 15 March 2018 and placed under house arrest the next day. He pleaded guilty, agreed to the consideration of the case under special procedure. Rebrovsky was sent for psychiatric examination in a specialised hospital. In April 2019, it became known that Rebrovsky had entered into an agreement with the investigation. He was released on his own recognisance.

Rebrovsky was detained on 15 March 2018 and placed under house arrest the next day. He pleaded guilty, agreed to the consideration of the case under special procedure. Rebrovsky was sent for psychiatric examination in a specialised hospital. In April 2019, it became known that Rebrovsky had entered into an agreement with the investigation. He was released on his own recognisance.

On 29 April 2019, the court sentenced Rebrovsky to two and a half years' imprisonment and one year of restrictions on freedom with compulsory psychiatric treatment on an outpatient basis. He was found guilty only of organising the activities of an extremist organisation.

On 8 July, at the hearing on the case of other defendants in the "New Greatness" case, Rebrovsky stated that he had confessed under pressure and retracted his confession, stressing that the group members had not prepared any arson or attacks.

On 8 October, Moscow City Court cancelled Rebrovsky's conviction and sent the case for a new trial, after which Rebrovsky was released on his own recognizance.

On 29 October 2020, Rebrovsky was sentenced to six years in a general regime penal colony. In December, it became known that he had been sent to a colony before the sentence came into force. No earlier than November 2021, he was sent to a psychiatric hospital for several months, and in April 2022, he was returned to the colony. On 28 July, the cassation court reduced Rebrovsky's sentence by a year.

Rebrovsky was released on 29 September 2023.
