Pavel Ustinov

Detained on 3 August 2019 during the dispersal of a rally for fair elections. On 4 August, it became known that Ustinov was prosecuted for the use of violence against a representative of the authorities – one of the Rosgvardiya fighters suffered a dislocated shoulder during the detention of Ustinov. On 5 August, the court ordered to place him in custody. On 16 September, the court sentenced Ustinov to three and a half years in a general regime colony.

The case attracted the attention of the general public. On 20 September, at the request of the prosecutor's office, which had previously asked to sentence Ustinov to six years in a penal colony, the court released him on his own recognizance.

On 30 September, the court of appeal instance sentenced Ustinov to one year of suspended sentence.
