Resident of Cherkessk, left Russia. Lawyer, member of organisations involved in the preservation of the Abazi ethnos. He spoke out against the war. He was prosecuted for spreading deliberately false information about the Russian Armed Forces because of a video on his YouTube channel entitled "It's time to change something! No to War!", published in February 2023.
In September 2025, the case went to court. On 2 December, the court sentenced Mkhtse in absentia to eight years in a general regime colony.
