The prisoner was serving a sentence in a high-security penal colony in the Pskov region, but it is not known for what case. A new case was initiated against him for spreading deliberately false information about the Russian Armed Forces: according to the investigation, together with another prisoner, he demonstrated some clips produced by Ukrainian channels in the colony. In December 2024, the case went to court.
