On 28 January 2021, Tregubov was detained for interrogation, it was not reported on what criminal case. On 30 January 2021, Tregubov's home was searched in a case of violation of sanitary and epidemiological norms. On the same day, a video appeared on Tregubov's Facebook, in which he refuses to be the head of Alexei Navalny's headquarters and calls not to go to uncoordinated events.
