A resident of Kazan. Detained after searches on 17 March 2022 due to anonymous posts in a Telegram channel. Searches took place at a number of civil and political activists in the city. On 19 March Terentev was released without pre-trial restrictions. At the end of March it was reported that Terentev had disappeared and his whereabouts were unknown. Later it turned out that he was under recognisance not to leave. Initially he was a suspect in the case of involvement in mass riots, but eventually he was charged with calls for mass riots.
