Sergei Galiamin

Resident of Teykov (Ivanovo Region). On April 11, 2020, a search was carried out at Galyamin's home. A case was opened against him for organising activities of an extremist organisation due to his involvement in the activities of the Jehovah's Witnesses community. Representatives of this community are prosecuted under extremist articles solely because of their religious activities —holding meetings and worship services and attracting new supporters. Galyamin was given a recognisance not to leave the country. On February 29, 2024 he was sentenced to a fine of 650 thousand rubles.
