In May 2021, it became known that a case on rehabilitation of nazism was brought against Sakharov in connection with an attempt to publish a photo of Goebbels on the website of the "Immortal Regiment". On 17 December, he was sentenced to 2 years of probation and a fine of 200 thousand rubles.
