On 11 March 2020, Seytumerov's house was searched. It became known that a case was opened against him for organising the activities of a terrorist organisation. Seytumerov left Crimea in 2018.
In November 2017, after the search, a protocol was drawn up on Seytumerov about the public demonstration of symbols of a banned organisation. The court fined him two thousand rubles.
