The next day she was charged with insulting the feelings of believers and publicly justifying terrorism because of her statements about burning churches and the terrorist attack in Jerusalem. On 17 August, the court sent Angel Barocco to custody. In January 2024, it became known that she was not receiving medical care in the detention centre, had restricted communication with everyone except her lawyer, and had not been handed letters for a month.
