Biography
Ukrainian singer. In 2016, she won the Eurovision Song Contest. She performed with a song about the deportation of Crimean Tatars from Crimea under Stalin rule. In April 2023, it became known that Jamala was included in the list of 31 artists who were banned from entering Russia for 50 years. In November 2023, it was reported that a case was brought against Jamala for spreading deliberately false information about the Russian Armed Forces. She was arrested in absentia and put on a wanted list.
