On 26 June 2018, was detained in a case on the activities of an extremist organisation, and released. Signed recognizance not to leave. On 16 September 2021, the court returned the case to the prosecutor's office. On 29 January 2024, Ryzhkova was sentenced to a fine of 480 thousand rubles.
