He was detained and taken into custody on 30 September 2020 on charges of using violence dangerous to life and health against a representative of the authorities. The charge was later reclassified to use of non-dangerous violence. On 19 February 2021, he was transferred to house arrest.
On 15 April, after being sentenced to seven months in a general regime colony, he was released in the courtroom.
