Detained on 24 March 2021. On 26 March the court decided to take Velizhanina into custody on the case of involvement in the activities of an extremist organisation. On 4 March 2022 she was transferred under house arrest. On 28 March, she was sentenced to a year and four months in a general regime colony, the term was considered served, and she was released in the courtroom.
