Vasilina Penskaia

A resident of Vyselki (Krasnodar region), a confectioner. On 13 February 2022, her home was searched. In May 2023, she was prosecuted for participation in the activities of an extremist organisation due to her involvement in the activities of the Jehovah's Witnesses community. Representatives of this community are prosecuted under extremist articles solely because of their religious activities - holding meetings and worship services and attracting new supporters. In July, Penskaia signed a covenant not to leave the country. On 31 July 2025, she was sentenced to a two-year suspended sentence.
