Vasily Neustroev

Member of the St Petersburg regional council of the Yabloko party. On 6 June 2023, he was detained after a search and taken to Moscow. Neustroev was sawed off the door and taken out of the flat in handcuffs. Later it became known that Neustroev was suspected of organising the activities of an extremist community (part 1 of article 282.1 of the Criminal Code), dissemination by a group of persons of disrespectful information about the days of military glory (part 4 of article 354.1 of the Criminal Code), public calls for actions against the security of the state, committed by an organised group (part 3 of article 280.4 of the Criminal Code). 3 part of article 280.4 of the Criminal Code), distribution of "fakes" about the army of the Russian Federation by a group of persons with the motive of hatred (paragraphs "b", "d" of part 2 of article 207.3 of the Criminal Code), incitement to mass disorders (part 1.1 of article 212 of the Criminal Code) and organisation of NGO activities that infringe on the personality and rights of citizens (part 2 of article 239 of the Criminal Code). On 8 June Neustroev was taken into custody as part of the case against the anti-war movement "Viasna".
