Biography
A resident of Kazan. He was charged with vandalism for 12 inscriptions against the war and Putin on the walls of buildings. He pleaded guilty and reimbursed the repainting costs. Representatives of the management companies, recognized as victims, agreed to drop the criminal case without punishment, but the prosecutor insisted that “the use of the name of the incumbent president and the anti-war nature of the inscriptions during the SWO period indicate an extraordinary threat to public safety and morality.” On 1 March 2023, Vakhitov was sentenced to 9 months of restricted freedom.
