In March 2023, Jehovah's Witnesses in Vladivostok were subjected to mass searches. Three, including Yegor, were detained and placed in a temporary detention centre for two days. Afterwards, on March 7, he was sent under house arrest. In July 2023, the measure was changed to a ban on certain actions.
