Biography
On 13 April 2021, Popkova's home was searched. She was detained after interrogation in the case on the activities of an extremist organisation. On 15 April, the court decided to place her in custody. In May, she was transferred to house arrest. On 22 July she was released on her own recognisance. On 20 November 2023, she was sentenced to two years' suspended sentence.
