Biography

A resident of Sverdlovsk (Luhansk region of Ukraine). On 18 July 2024, he was kidnapped by unknown persons who introduced themselves as FSB officers. He was held until 23:30, after which he was handed over to PPS officers for violating the curfew in the town of Krasny Luch, which is 80 kilometres from Sverdlovsk. He was held until 23:30, after which he was handed over to PPS officers for violating the curfew in the town of Krasny Luch, which is 80 kilometres from Sverdlovsk. He was then placed under administrative arrest for 15 days on charges of violating the curfew. On 3 August 2024, the day of his release, he was kidnapped again. Nikitenko's wife, who came to meet him in Krasny Luch, said that she saw unknown people take him out of the police station, put handcuffs and a bag over his head and took him to an unknown destination. He was later arrested for 25 days, again on curfew violation charges. On 28 August 2024, Nikitenko was again taken to an unknown location. He was later taken into custody on charges of publicly justifying terrorism. In October 2025, the case went to trial.
