In Russia, elections for the ninth convocation of the State Duma will take place from 18 to 20 September. The only party with an anti-war stance, Yabloko, was barred from the elections—a decision made by the Supreme Court following a lawsuit filed by the Rodina party. During the Yabloko appeal hearing on 17 August, police detained more than 85 people outside the Supreme Court building.
