Protests Against Mobilisation: OVD-Info Chronicle

On 21 September, Vladimir Putin announced a “partial” mobilisation, after which Sergei Shoigu ordered that 300,000 people be drafted to fight in the war in Ukraine. On the same day, anti-mobilisation protests took place across Russia, with 1,386 people detained. The protests continued afterwards.
